After a wonderful weekend (which will come in a post on Wednesday) we have entered into week 2 of our DIY camp! YAY!!!!
So this week is all about superheroes even though the education.com site is says heroes for this week, that's the good thing about DIY camps... you can do what you want to do! The kids have done heroes in school so I wanted them to have something different to do.
So on day one of SUPER HERO CAMP the girls had three worksheets each (excuse the drawing as it was done by myself so don't blame the girls)
Brianna's sheets included:
A sheet about "my super dad" which had questions about her daddy and asked her to draw a picture. She said her daddy's super power was being nice.
Her second and third sheets were a super hero mask and logo to design herself.
Angelika's sheets included:
a super hero logo to design.
a question asking what her super power would be if she was a super hero and to draw a picture. She chose to be strong and the picture is of her holding a table.
The last sheet was a super hero which she could color with a list of words positive and negative and she was asked to circle the words that described her super hero.
Next we read a book online which was not only about super heroes but heroes in general and a hero most kids don't think of which is a farmer.. also known as the "supper hero"
We had a really good time... now to plan day two!
