Mountain trip for Brandon's 16th birthday - Day one

Today has been the most exciting yet tiring day of my life. We left at 4:30 this morning and headed to Maggie Valley North Carolina. All five of us some how packed ourselves into the van surrounded by tons of suitcases and groceries and traveled what seemed like FOREVER. 

We had many stops along the way which added to the enjoyment of our first day of vacation. We stopped in Greensboro to visit all of the places we use to live and saw a few old friends then we grabbed a VERY late breakfast and headed to the park to eat. I use to take Brandon to the same park everyday when he was younger but he did not remember it at all! 

Next we headed to Asheville where we went to a small zoo type place then headed to Walmart for a few more groceries. We finally made it to the cabin a little before 5pm. I'm so in love with the cabin I am already dreading leaving.
